Woodland Maths Trail

The maths trail at Harestanes Visitors Centre near Jedburgh (GR NT642244) is an innovative way to learn about maths.  Not only does the trail allows children to work out mathematical problems using real life examples, all related to trees, forestry and the local woodland but the trail and accompanying work book can be used as a template and modified  to create similar activities in the school grounds.
