Tayside OWL Group: Introduction to Mindfulness workshop

Join us for a gentle day of Mindfulness with Orla Beaton & Louise Durrant.
We will gather together to learn what Mindfulness is and the benefits we can gain by relaxing body and mind. We will learn practical techniques, including the basics of seated meditation and mindful walking and consider how we can bring these into the rhythm of our personal and working lives. We will have an opportunity to connect with each other and share our experience and we will also cover a few simple ideas which we can offer to children and adults in our care, including a song or two! Orla & Louise will draw on their experience as Mindfulness Facilitators and also as Practitioners at Secret Garden Outdoor Nursery where they have both worked,
Time will be spent both indoors and out, so please come prepared for the weather and bring some food to share or a packed lunch. Tea and coffee will be provided.
